Perla is a hand-painted silk scarf, slowly crafted.

Dyed with yerba mate plant and painted by hand, each piece carries subtle variations that speak of time, touch, and intention. Inspired by Mexican culture, Perla draws from the richness of natural pigments, ritual, and artisanal traditions—where making is an act of patience and care rather than speed.

Created in limited quantities and made to order, this scarf is not repeated exactly. Each Perla is unique, shaped by natural dyeing processes and the gestures of the hand.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Each BARŌ scarf is crafted using silk twill and carefully hand-painted through a controlled process designed to preserve color, texture, and detail.
During production, every piece is properly set and treated to ensure color stability. The markers and pigments used are indelible and fixed, meaning the drawings will not fade or wash away when cared for correctly.

How to care for your scarf:

  • Hand wash gently in cold water
  • Use a mild, silk-friendly detergent
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not soak for extended periods
  • Avoid rubbing or wringing the fabric
  • Lay flat or hang to dry, away from direct sunlight
  • Iron on low heat, preferably with a cloth between the iron and the silk

With proper care, your scarf will maintain its color, softness, and hand-painted details over time.
